History of Superior Sauna

Superior Sauna & Cabin Manufacturing, LLC started with an "Early Planning Grant" from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce, along with two years of product development and investment in prototypes and design.  Since then, it's been an involved but rewarding process: we have involved architects, business consultants and sauna builders from all over the world in our efforts to construct the company as exactingly as we construct our product. The doors, windows, heater guards, benches, and vents that we mfg. are all made with chemical free natural woods that will not melt. Our sauna benches are the sturdiest on the market.

To that end, our goal, quite frankly, is to build the best "Superior Sauna" in the world. All of our wood parts are dried to specification. Common lumber is typically 16 - 22 percent moisture, and our goal is to hit a range of 6 - 12 percent.  This locks the wood fibers down for a more stable product, resistant to warp and deterioration. We're confident our sauna buildings will last for generations with proper care.

Sauna is an ancient tradition for relaxation and rejuvenation, spanning thousands of years and countless cultures, from Rome, to the Mayan empire to the America Indian. Spaciousness, coupled with windows featuring laser etched art of the Lake Superior region, heater guards and other accessories help to round out "The Superior Sauna Experience".

Commercial quality at an affordable consumer's price. Double the weight and content of any sauna produced, just call for comparison.

We hope you enjoy our saunas as much as we love building them.
